My name is Santiago Moffat. I founded NoSoundNoPic Audio Services in 2018 to offer trustful and outstanding audio services solutions to artists, producers and businesses.
I have pursued my deep passion for sound from an early age, first studying music theory and harmony at EMBA (Music School of Buenos Aires), and later obtaining a diploma in Audio and Video Production from ORT Argentina.
In my professional life, I have gained extensive experience in the sound industry – by recording in studio and on location, mastering in-house content and creating high quality audio descriptive work during my many years as Sound Editor for AMI (Accessible Media Inc.).
Through NoSoundNoPic, I am committed to building strong working partnerships with my clients to help them achieve targets and meet challenging deadlines.

TESTIMONIALS
“Working with Santiago on THE MUSIC OF MADNESS was a delight. For a documentary about making soundscapes and music it was critical to find someone who could truly bring an extra level of artistry and craft to the post-audio side of the film, and he nailed it. He was able to take the music and raw location sound and bring our story about musical composition to life. He’s quick, thoughtful, a technical wizard, and he GETS INTO the project in a major way, really sculpts the sound and the mix. Would definitely recommend him, and his work, to any director, editor or producer. ”

“Santiago manages to create a sense of balance and harmony seemingly without the compromising of any element. His work on the feature film Surviving Bokator treated every aspect of the sound picture with great respect and care, providing focus and blend where necessary. The result is a very pleasurable experience that is grounded in the story. Beyond his technical ability, he is also very creative. For Music of Madness, he took raw location sounds and sculpted them into a compelling soundtrack that worked in tandem with the music, and provided yet another rich layer of meaning to the narrative.”

“As a video producer with AMI, I worked on many broadcast and web media projects with Santiago. The highlight of my work with Santi was our collaboration on a documentary titled “A Taste of Nunavut”. This documentary set in Canada’s arctic required the full attention of Santi’s skill set. Dealing with high winds, our project required extensive ADR work and mixing. The sound design for this project was also intricate as it required a respect to environmental sound and music mixing. Santi’s dedication and professionalism shone through on this project and every project I worked on with him. He is passionate about sound and is relentless in his pursuit of excellence. I am envious of any producer or director who is able to utilize his skills on their project. I highly recommend Santi!”

” I had the pleasure of working with Santiago for five years and over that time he was an extremely valuable member of our team. I have worked with him on field productions, studio shoots, and post-production projects and he has always delivered quality sound. Santiago is a consummate professional who is at his best when helping to solve the inevitable technical issues that arise while making television. For example, his post-production work on the A Taste of Nunavut documentary salvaged a few elements that otherwise would have been unusable because of audio problems in the field.”
